Two – have been waiting for that? 2 is the most romantic number: everything comes in pairs.
Light and dark.
Left and right.
Up and down.
Man and woman.
Life and death.
The beginning and the end.
We can go on forever.
Two eyes, two ears, two hands, two legs, two neuphro, two sets of ribs
What you can think about when you think about One? Number One is the simplest, though at the same time it is the most unperceivable. When there is only One, then the whole concept of numbers naturally falls away. There is only One, when there is Two, right? Until then, it is just Everything.
For that reason, I generally don’t recommend people to begin their meditation series with number One. Yes, if you are new here, just close this page and go to another number, get fascinated! There are no magical coincidences with number One, as One lays in Everything, and that is why it the number of God (whatever I mean by that).
